To the Editor:
Josh Green asserts, in his half of the point/counterpoint columns, that "the Greek System, directly and indirectly, demeans women" (The Dartmouth, April 27, 1999). I would just like to remind Josh that eight members of the "Greek System" include women. The goals of these organizations include providing safe social space and a positive environment for all women on campus. In future commentary on this issue, Mr. Green, please refrain from using such broad and insulting generalizations.
