To the Editor:
Dartmouth students have exploded over the top of the green thermometer in front of Collis by achieving 126 percent of their fund-raising goal for United Way of the Upper Valley! Thanks to all of you who supported the drive through your gifts or your participation in the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Green Key Society events. Last fall's Kiss the Pig contest rallied hundreds of dollar votes for the affable contestants. A very generous contribution by an individual '98 and the proceeds from the just-compiled raffle pushed students the rest of the way over the goal.
Student members of the United Way at Dartmouth Steering Committee helped make it all happen. Thanks go to Michelle Gregg, Xiaojing Wang and Ridwan Budijono from the Green Key and Adam Weinstein and Tiffany Downing from Golden Key who collaborated so well to make these events so successful.
