To the Editor:
Jeff Link was fined only $50 by the College? That fine is the same punishment/reminder for late registration, late interim housing applications, failed P.E. classes, alcohol violations, failed swimming tests, parking violations (accidental fines).
Yet, for someone who had intentions, and carried out those intentions, to scrawl defamation on the door of someone of another race, etc., the College fines him only $50?
Way to go, Dartmouth. Set the example as an institution of diversity (blah, blah, blah)!! There really is something wrong with this picture!
