To the Editor:
In last Thursday's article on the smaller Greek houses (Oct. 26, 1995), the headlines are rather ludicrous. The article is continued twice, the first time with, "Future of small frats remains uncertain," the second, "Small fraternities worry over dwindling numbers."
The comments from Bones Gate, Kappa Kappa Kappa and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternities do not seem to point toward the above headlines. Presidents of all three houses are quoted as being confident of their houses' futures, and either enjoying their small size or experiencing exponential growth.
Gamma Delta Chi fraternity is the only house that expressed concern about small pledge classes. Still, Gamma Delt fraternity President Chris Berg '96 said he enjoys having a small community of brothers.
The headlines chosen for the article misrepresent what is written and present themselves as an editorial on the subject independent of the facts presented in the article itself.
