A moose was on the loose last night.
Students said they spotted a large moose just before 9 p.m. near the River Cluster.
According to one student the moose was walking out from between Hinman and McClane residence halls toward the Thayer School of Engineering.
Other sources said they saw the moose head past Bones Gate and Sigma Nu fraternities.
Both the Office of Safety and Security and the Hanover Police Department were notified of the sighting but neither office could locate the animal.
