To the Editor:
I want to endorse fully the thoughts expressed in Band Director Max Culpepper's letter (Sept. 26) concerning rushing the football field. Those who do it not only violate Athletic Department regulations, but they accomplish nothing that is positive for the football team or for Dartmouth College.
There are better ways to support our athletes and exhibit school spirit, if that is what is intended. Bring more of your classmates to the games and make some real noise when the team needs a boost! That goes for the upperclass students who coax on the field rushers, too.
