Big Green Weekly Honor Roll

Cory Murphy 95 broke two pool records and won three individual events in the women's swim teams second win ever over Cornell on Sunday . Murphys record-setting performances came in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke. She also placed first in the 200-meter individual medley and 200-meter medley relay.

Football co-captain Jay Fiedler 94 was named the Most Valuable Player in the fourth annual Epson Ivy Bowl at the Tokyo Dome Jan. 8. Fiedler led a contingent of senior first- and second-team All-Ivy selections to a 31-14 victory over a team of Japanese college all-stars. He completed 8 of 13 passes for 159 yards and three touchdowns, while adding one more touchdown on a 77-yard reception.

Melissa McBean 97, who powered the women's soccer team to a 7-0 Ivy League championship last fall, was named to the All-American second team. The Ivy League Rookie of the Year, McBean led the Big Green in scoring with seven goals and three assists, and scored the teams only goal in a 1-0 victory over Harvard to clinch the Ivy League title.

Rachel Rochat 95 scored a hat trick Tuesday in the womens hockey teams 9-2 blasting of Middlebury. Gretchen Ulion 94 had two goals and six assists, Kim Reid 94 added two goals, and Malaika Little 97 and Sarah Howard 96 rounded out the Big Greens scoring with one goal each.

Ilsa Webeck 94 scored double doubles, in her last three games, averaging 18 points and 13.3 rebounds per game.
