I knew this would happen. I just knew it. I almost blame myself. I knew that if we gave Ryan Karr one chance at the big time, his very own Sports Weekly back-page column, it would get to his head.
WHAT TO DO IN THE WARM WEATHER
First of all, I would like to thank my friend, Adam J. Schoenfeld, for filling in for Jordan Rose this week, as he is at an away rugby game. Adam is a worthy opponent because he is both a state-champion debater and an avid Dartmouth sports fan.
Spring has sprung. As I write this column, which Jordan and I decided would serve to both to gain valuable facetime for our respective sports, as well as to preview the NCAA basketball championships, I am sitting on a bus driving back from our first race of the season.
The Dartmouth Writer's Note: This is the seventh part in an ongoing series of Michael Knapp dominating Jordan Rose in debates on the topic of Dartmouth sports. Unable to think of a topic this week, Jordan and I turned to our good friend Adam for advice.
"Fifty years. That's all you need to know." Those were the words of Dartmouth men's basketball captain Jarrett Mathis '09 when I posed the question to him that my editors asked me to ttake on in this column.
EMILY van GEMEREN / The Dartmouth Staff This column should be renamed Toe-to-Toe: Knapp Owns Rose.
When Jordan and I decided to write this column earlier this year, we envisioned writing about Dartmouth Athletics each and every week.
Jared Bookman / The Dartmouth Staff The Dartmouth men's basketball program just had its most successful weekend in recent memory, beating both Brown and Yale in heroic fashion on consecutive nights.
