The gift, totaling more than $150 million, will be used to support financial aid for current and future undergraduates — starting next academic year — and scholarships at the Tuck School of Business.
Updates in the suit include Dartmouth’s lawyer’s admission that the College has considered donations when making admissions decisions, and that Dartmouth will no longer assert the “Exemption Defense.”
Around 140 rising high school seniors visited the College to learn more about it.
Since 2017, the College has committed themselves to transitioning to a low-carbon future by making strategic investments in sustainable energy, but new science has led administrators to re-evaluate their goals and timelines.
The week-long celebration, first held in 2017, returned after a four-year hiatus to honor African culture and identity.

On April 17, Dartmouth hosted the first round of in-person Dimensions since before the pandemic for admitted students in the Class of 2027.
Although SAE’s national organization allegedly re-recognized Dartmouth’s chapter in October, the fraternity remains unaffiliated with the College.
