Sometimes it's hard not to be embarrassed that I'm American. The young, promising melting pot that humbly braved all odds to establish itself as a superpower no longer completely impresses me.
I've always had a question I wanted to ask in a public forum, but until now didn't see an appropriate venue for doing so.
Upon reading David Gacioch's opinion piece "Culture of Drinking Should Change," (The Dartmouth, January 26) I don't have a lot to say.
