Someday very soon, I know that Dartmouth College will begin to ask me to do something more important than fill out another pointless form or to change my dining card option before I get pillaged $770; they are going to ask me for money.
For those of you that have been following the "selection" of our new Provost closely, it will come as no surprise that former Provost James Wright has been re-appointed for another year as Provost.
I don't know how many of you are following what is going on concerning the appointment of a new provost, but everyone should be shocked and appalled at what is happening.
Welcome back. It's time to start one more trip around the seasons, Fall, Winter, and Mud. I thought I'd chip in a few thought, ideas, and greetings concerning yet another year at Dartmouth. Seniors: Wow, I haven't seen most of you in at least three terms.
I read C and P's column on Wednesday [The Dartmouth, June 9, 1997] concerning dating at Dartmouth and felt that someone needed to set the record straight.
Actions speak louder than words. That is one philosophical idea that I have come to believe in. However, when one applies this criterion, one is usually disappointed.
Finally, it's here: Green Key. The bomb. Or at least we hope so. The moment of anticipation is often the pinnacle of the experience.
Ugh. Waking up Sunday morning is rarely a pleasant experience. Everything was pointing to this being one of the worst wake-ups in my life.
Well it's good to know that things haven't changed much. How refreshing it was to come back from my off term to find a blitz in my in box telling me that no one was interested in being the president of my senior class.
