Who Will Be Your Formal Date?
It’s that time of the term again. Finals are approaching, but many people also seem to be struggling with something else – finding a formal date. It’s not quite “prama” level (prom-related drama), but formal always comes with an additional source of social anxiety. It’s all a game – you have to take into consideration what other formals might be happening the same night as yours that could make finding dates more competitive. But there will always be another formal, so ditching is always an option (unless you’re a senior and this actually is your last one…). It can all get a little silly, so are you tired of staring at the blank space next to your name on the Google spreadsheet of formal dates, trolling everyone else’s dates and writing “TBD” on formal contracts?
