The furriest new campus celebs

Several fraternities on campus have fuzzy new additions to their memberships, and there's no better time to introduce you to these four-legged friends than during the summer, when students and puppies alike are looking to relax in the Hanover sunshine.

Alpha Delta

Jake (golden retriever)
Age: 11 weeks

Jake has killer good looks and charm to boot. He's very well-behaved and loves attention. In his free time, Jake enjoys stomach rubs and trips to the Connecticut River, just like any Dartmouth student. Jake was born and raised in New Hampshire and eats better than half of his housemates, enjoying lamb and vegetables followed by naps in the sun.

Bones Gate

Finnegan (Goldendoodle)
Age: 11 weeks

Finnegan, or Finn for short, is a cross between a golden retriever and a poodle, but from the looks of him is part polar bear. Though Finn seems friendly and adorable, Dartbeat couldn't find out much more than that — Finn has a strict policy not to speak to the media.

Kappa Kappa Kappa

Harrison (half lab, half golden retriever)
Age: Four months

Harrison enjoys going for walks, playing with sticks and getting the occasional belly rub. He's got lots of energy and is growing quickly, but remains a lovable, spunky puppy.
