While ap­pli­ca­tion rates for in­com­ing classes at Dart­mouth Med­ical School and the Grad­u­ate School of Arts and Sci­ences have been con­sis­tent with those of pre­vi­ous years, the Thayer School of En­gi­neer­ing has seen ano­table in­creasein its ap­pli­ca­tion pool, which grew by ap­prox­i­mately 35 per­cent for the class en­ter­ing in Fall 2012.

The three stu­dents dis­placed by the Feb. 4 fire at Ep­silon Kappa Theta soror­ity’s phys­i­cal plant areex­pected to move backby the week­end of Feb. 25 fol­low­ing ex­ten­sive re­pair work on the house, ac­cord­ing to Bernard Haskell, as­sis­tant di­rec­tor of op­er­a­tions for the Of­fice of Res­i­den­tial Life.

At the 2012 sum­mit, Riley Ennis ’15 and Gary Le ’15were namedas mem­bers of the “Kairos 50,” a group of the 50 most in­no­v­a­tive and promis­ing young en­tre­pre­neurs from uni­ver­si­ties around the world. They pre­sented their ideas to lead­ing in­ter­na­tional en­tre­pre­neurs on the floor of the New York Stock Ex­change.
