Dear readers, revelers, creatures of the Green,

Welcome to the strangest spring sight to be seen!

The Dartmouth presents our Green Key special issue

Here come tears of joy, so be sure you have tissues

In this springtime frolic, we dare to explore

This strange, storied weekend we’ll live to adore.

In this issue, writers looked here and then there. How brave they all were, yes, for Dartmouth they care! They looked high and low, to the places you’ll go, and they looked at the things that we think we all know.

From hockey pucks, soccer and school history

To good Sams and mold and Green Key mystery.

We’ve got lore, we’ve got clues, yes, whatever you choose!

We’ve even got one hard look at Doctor Seuss (without copyright infringement, of course!).

Green Key is a campus tradition from bygone days

full of springtime displays.

Though the weekend has changed over time, still, every year, when the mud starts to flee,

Dartmouth turns loose for a weekend-long spree.

So read on the Green, read in line for Foco and read before finals make all of us loco.

For Green Key is fleeting, it zips and it zooms, then Monday arrives with its deadlines and dooms.

So before you indulge in a rock and roll jam,

Welcome, dear readers, to Green Keys and Ham.
