"Dream House," despite its stellar cast, falls completely flat due to its undeveloped ideas and sluggish pacing. Although David Loucka's screenplay attempts to explore psychological elements and combine them with those typical of a haunted-house thriller, the film fails to deliver on these aims. The combined efforts of renowned director Jim Sheridan and Bond man Daniel Craig cannot compensate for the lack of interesting elements in the script. A psychological thriller gone horribly wrong, "Dream House" fails to engage or leave any impact on its audience whatsoever. Anisha Mohin
"Dream House" was an interesting, if underwhelming entry into the horror genre. The film's major twist is revealed to anyone who has seen the trailer, but the film manages to keep the audience's attention well after this revelation. The thrills are predictable, but the plot abounds with enough red herrings to keep even a fisherman happy. The production was top notch, yet this house could've been a true dream with a better script and better use of its all-star cast. Varun Bhuchar
