For the first time in recent memory, the candidate for student body president, Max Yoeli '12, may run unopposed. Amrita Sankar '12 recently switched her candidacy from student body president to student body vice president.
Will Hix '12, who announced his candidacy two weeks ago, said in an email to The Dartmouth that he is awaiting a response from the Election Planning and Advisory Committee about whether he is eligible to run. Hix said he has "not yet suspended [his] candidacy" and that he expects to hear from EPAC sometime on Sunday.
Sankar will now run against Brian Holekamp '12, who announced his candidacy last week.
