I'm not going to label myself a "belieber" any time soon, but I will no longer mock J-Biebs with my previous ferocity. Emphasizing the human side of the tween sensation, "Never Say Never'" fought the uphill battle of creating a three-dimensional person out of the hair-flipping teen icon. I came out of the theater remembering adorable scenes of Bieber with his younger siblings and dedicated fans, not the lack of artistry in his lyrics. In short, I may not have caught Bieber-fever, but my immune system is severely impaired.

Rachel Carter"Never Say Never" tells the story of Justin Bieber and his humble beginnings with video footage of his past (which was not that long ago), clips from his concerts and testimonials from several fans saying how much Bieber has inspired them. As much as I wanted to laugh at the fact that I was watching the autobiography of a 17-year-old, I was actually fascinated and even moved by Bieber's journey to fame.

I wasn't particularly excited to go see "Never Say Never." Bieber seemed like just another teen star a chipmunk-like adolescent with a trademark circumferential hairdo and amazing staying power. However, the documentary presents Bieber as a relatable teenager with a charming personality. By the end of the movie, I have to admit I was singing along.
