Neeson runs the show in this needlessly convoluted yet oddly entertaining thriller. The biggest head-scratcher though: How did Neeson go from saving Jews as Oskar Schindler to crushing international criminals with his bare hands?- Alec Brodsky
For a thriller, "Unknown" is somewhat less than thrilling. The plot is incomprehensible, the requisite final twist incongruous and the overall movie disjointed. However, despite its flaws, the film is a fairly painless way to pass two hours. Seeing the 58-year-old Neeson somehow manage to channel Jason Bourne is an added bonus.

Neeson demonstrates his impressive acting prowess and physical ability in his latest film. Filled with high-energy action scenes, the movie keeps audience members on the edge of their seats. Neeson makes the viewer sympathize so much with his plight being robbed of his identity that a plot twist at the end is unexpected and mind-boggling, making for a thrilling cinematic experience.
