The DDS Detective

Have you ever noticed how, out of all the fruits, the banana is the one that is always showing up everywhere? Seriously what other fruit do you know that has its own TV show (if you never watched "Bananas in Pajamas," you led a deprived childhood), an astonishingly fun word game (anyone know the real way to play Bananagrams? Didn't think so) chic clothing boutique (why not Raspberry Republic? Does no one like alliterations anymore?) and super cool water transportation vehicle (although a pineapple boat seems potentially problematic). Thank goodness that SpongeBob didn't end up living in a banana under the sea, and Steve Jobs was working on an apple farm when he decided he wanted to start an electronics company, or the banana would just be out of control.

Well, I don't know how the banana has done it, but somehow, it has managed to finally sneak its way into DDS Detective which is weird, because I'm not even a huge fan of bananas. But after trying this recipe for banana pudding in Collis, I'm starting to think the banana has Ari Gold for an agent because there is no way a single fruit should get this much PR: 1.Get a banana and a cup of plain yogurt from Collis (you can use vanilla yogurt if you want something really sweet).2.Get a soup cup and put a few squirts of honey and some shakes of cinnamon in it.3.Slice the banana into pieces and put it into the soup cup with the honey and cinnamon.4.Use a fork or spoon to mash the banana into desired consistency (I like a few chunks, but some people (sup tropes!) prefer it smooth.5.Add 2-3 spoonfuls of yogurt Don't add more than this! You don't want to overpower the flavor of the banana/honey/cinnamon.6.Mix together, making sure you fully incorporate the cinnamon and honey from the bottom of the cup into your pudding. If you want to add a little color to your pudding, grab a few strawberries from the smoothie bar, chop them into the mix, and make it a strawberry-banana pudding! In fact, I sincerely hope that you add strawberries. The banana needs to be brought down a few notches.
