`hinking about happiness makes me sad but it's a little hard to avoid. As Dartmouth students, what we choose to do with our time reflects a lot about our opinions about happiness. For example, going out the night before an exam = valuing short-term pleasures over long term ones. Majoring in Econ = loving numbers, feeling secure and making money. Off-terms offer even more options, do you spend your time interning without pay for job experience, travelling to gain life experience or working a real-job to lessen future loan payment all of these decisions depend on how you weigh different kinds of happiness. It's the underlying factor to every life choice.

But that's not the real reason thinking about the subject brings me down it's because I believe true happiness can only come about spontaneously random Tuesday hangout sessions are always more enjoyable than a highly anticipated party. My most joy-filled moments always come when I'm just walking along and all of a sudden the sun hits me a certain way and everything seems alright. On that note, here's 8 pages about happiness hopefully they won't bring you down.
