Redman, Carney to leave the College

Dean of Residential Life Martin Redman announced his position was being eliminated, due to budget restructuring.
Dean of Residential Life Martin Redman announced his position was being eliminated, due to budget restructuring.

Following the elimination of his position, Redman will be leaving the College, he wrote in the e-mail.

The changes follow the departure of former associate director of Coed, Fraternity and Sorority system Fouad Saleet, who left the College last month for a position at Colgate University.

In his e-mail, Redman acknowledged the office has "been busy lately" in the wake of Hanover Police's hardened stance on underage student alcohol use. In the e-mail Redman provided no additional information about how the department would be restructured or who would be in charge of development of the alcohol policy.

Redman, Carney and acting Dean of the College Sylvia Spears were not immediately available for comment.
