A strong but small contingent of videos documenting adorable children with string instruments has formed a new trend in YouTube videos. Although these videos ostensibly arose separately, the cohesive genre they form has gone viral. By searching "I'm Yours cute baby," for instance, you can watch a grinning little kid rock out to Jason Mraz's hit song on his ukulele. And though he stumbles through most of the words, he distracts us with his hilarious facial expressions and musical proficiency. In another video, a toddler wearing only a diaper performs "Hey Jude" with surprising accuracy while being swallowed whole by his guitar and, occasionally, remembering there is a microphone present. Other videos of the same genre can be found in abundance, but I would argue that Jason Jr. and the next John Lennon are by far the best acts in their musical field.
