Men's tennis coach announces retirement

Big Green men's tennis head coach Charles Kinyon announced in a press release today that he will be retiring at the end of the season. Kinyon has been coaching at Dartmouth since 1980.

"Dartmouth has been a terrific place to work," Kinyon said in the release. "Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to be here for 30 years."

Kinyon began his tenure as the head coach for men's squash and an assistant coach for men's tennis, but took on his current role three years later. As the tennis head coach, Kinyon lead his team to 14 winning seasons and broke a streak of 79 losses to Princeton University.

Following Kinyon's retirement, the Varsity Tennis Suite in the Boss Tennis Center will be renamed the Kinyon Varsity Tennis Suite.
