Oct. 26, 2:11 p.m.Etna RoadA woman babysitting her grandchild reported to Hanover Police that she had received several suspicious phone calls. While at home with the child, the woman received a call supposedly from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center informing her that the H1N1 vaccine was available for the child and that she should bring the child to the hospital to receive the vaccination. DHMC officials, however, said that they make no such calls.

Oct. 27, 1:22 p.m.South StreetHanover Police received a report from Ramunto's Brick n' Brew Pizzeria of a possible fraud incident. The owners suspected that the business' electronic checks had been used without authorization. Hanover Police is investigating.

Oct. 29, 11:16 a.m.Rope Ferry RoadHanover Police received a report of suspicious activity involving a woman described as being in her mid-40s or early-50s who has attempted to buy food from Thayer Dining Hall on multiple occasions. When the woman reaches the cashier, she allegedly states that she has no money and attempts to persuade a student to pay for her meal. Hanover Police is currently investigating the case.

Oct. 29-30 Various Locations
Two male individuals are suspected of stealing two Macbook laptops from Panarchy undergraduate society in two separate incidents. The individuals thought to be Hanover High School students are also suspected of attempting to break into a Hanover elementary school. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 30, 2:19 a.m.Lyme Road
A 19-year-old male member of the Class of 2013 flagged down a Hanover Police car on Lyme Road in an attempt to find his way back to the McLaughlin residential cluster. After speaking with the student, officers determined that he was "extremely intoxicated." The student was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol, and was later released to Safety and Security after a breathalyzer test revealed his blood alcohol content to be .23. He then reportedly fled from Safety and Security, was re-apprehended and then placed into Hanover Police custody. Hanover Police brought the student to the Grafton County jail. He was given a court date of Dec. 7.Oct. 31, 6:32 a.m. North Main Street Hanover Police received a report that a homeless man had fallen asleep in Novack Cafe. When police arrived to investigate, they told the man to leave the premises.

Nov. 1, 12:45 a.m. West Wheelock Street Hanover Police arrested a 19-year-old male member of the Class of 2012 for unlawful possession of alcohol and then released him into the custody of Safety and Security, who brought him to Dick's House. Hanover Police then received a report that the student was being "loud and verbally abusive." After trying to reason with the student, officers took him back into custody and drove him to the Grafton County jail. He was given a court date of Dec. 14.

Nov. 1, 6:40 a.m. Conant Road
Hanover Police received a report that two dogs were chasing deer in the Hanover area. Officers investigated the incident, but the dogs were not found.
