To the Editor:
During the presidential campaign, there were significant efforts to discredit the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth without addressing the facts themselves. Now, the success of the Swift Vets message is attributed to a lack of response from the Kerry campaign, again ignoring the facts themselves. I hope that, in an academic setting, your students and alumni will find the time to consider the facts of Sen. John Kerry's actions in and after Vietnam instead of just continuing to toss words about the political process around.
