No Name Necessary
To the Editor:
This letter regards the article "Police Questions Student" (Nov. 16). I feel that The Dartmouth has displayed extremely poor taste in publishing the name of the student questioned. It knows nothing about whether that student was the attacker -- all it does know is that he was allowed to go freely after the questioning. This information does not warrant printing the name of the individual. All The Dartmouth has done is open the doors to speculation and harassment. I hope it will show more discretion in the future.
