Harvard 1, San Diego State 0
A golden goal at the 93-minute mark from Katie Westfall gave the Crimson a hard-fought victory against the San Diego State Aztecs in California on Sunday.
The Aztecs had a couple of golden opportunities themselves, one of which included a one-and-one situation between SDSU forward Kim Rogers and Harvard goalkeeper Cheryl Gunther. But Rogers sent her shot over the bar.
In the first half Westfall almost scored when her shot beat the keeper but was eventually just cleared off the line by Aztec midfielder Elicia Petre.
Harvard's record now stands at 4-2 overall and 1-1 in Ivy League games. The Crimson next play Boston College today.
