Though the academic year may be winding down for Dartmouth, the sailing team still has farther to go before they head home for the summer. The squad has qualified for three different Intercollegiate Yacht Racing Association national championships, which is a testament to the team's depth.
The women's team will compete at the ICYRA women's dinghy championship, held May 28-30 at St. Mary's College in Maryland. The Big Green women are currently ranked second in the national poll behind only U.S.C., and have been ranked near the top for the whole season.
The Big Green will then compete at the ICYRA/Ronstan team race championships, also at St. Mary's, from May 31-June 2.
To finish off the season, the Big Green will travel to the Merchant Marine Academy for the ICYRA national coed dinghy championship on June 5-7. The coed squad is ranked sixth in the nation.
