To the Editor:
Last week, Kappa Delta Epsilon's pong table was stolen. The people who took it left it in the middle of the Green. You may have walked by it on your way to a 10A. Pong table theft, while common, is not a big deal. What prompts me to write this is what was spray painted on the back of the table -- "[A certain fraternity] is gay. LRG2."
One word describes the vandalism, disheartening. I thought we'd gotten somewhere last term. Why do things like this continue to happen?
I guess change does not occur with words alone. Each member of our community must take a stand before anything can change.
To whoever vandalized our pong table, please do not come to KDE again. There is no room for your kind in my house.
