To the Editor:
I would like to thank all those that helped out and attended the Irish Society dinner. This "musical-dining extravaganza" was very well attended.
Although the estimated attendance was less than 50 people, over 150 came for the great food and live music. Even more surprising than the high attendance was that everyone was able to be fed.
This, of course, would not have been possible if the Finn family, mother, father, and brother of Bridget Finn'99 did not come up to help out. Mr. Finn truthfully said the "widespread interest in the Irish dinner shows that there is a need for an Irish organization on campus." I am very happy that Dartmouth now has such an organization and wish the Irish Society the best of luck in the future.
