To the Editor:
In the last week I have been visited by two different reporters from The Dartmouth, and both times I took pains to explain that I was not actually the College "WebMaster" but that I was but one member in a team of six who act under the name of "WebMaster." While I am flattered that The Dartmouth thinks I have so much power, in reality the work that is done for Dartmouth's Web Services is the work of a team of people, currently three
Computing Services employees and three undergraduates, who are all highly
talented and whose efforts should not, in any way, be marginalized.
Lastly, I am not actually the director of "computer resources" but am instead the former Manager of the Computer Resource Center and the current Manager of Consulting Information Resources.
