Early morning construction disturbs peace

To the Editor:

We are writing to complain about the ongoing construction behind Robinson Hall. Every morning we wake up not by our alarms, but by a constant scraping of shovels, banging of hammers, and beeping of dump trucks in reverse. However, yesterday morning has brought us to the point of exhaustion, literally. Early yesterday morning, we were shaken out of bed by the reverberation and pounding of jackhammers. While we understand that construction needs to be done, we strongly feel that work that involves excessive noise at such early [morning] hours is harmful to the general well being of students, including those of us preparing to take the LSAT this Saturday. The College should take note, and act to alleviate our migraines.
