To the Editor:
On behalf of the alcohol task force, I would like to clarify the situation surrounding the discussion about Asgard's becoming an undergraduate society ("Asgard may become an undergraduate society," May 18, 1995). At this point, the committee has not yet voted on any of the many proposed recommendations, and thus it is premature to say that the task force has "recommended" any specific action. All the proposals that will be voted upon by the end of the term are presently in their working stages, and the committee is now trying to investigate the benefits and detriments of each before such a vote is taken. The final report will be sent to Dean of the College Lee Pelton by the end of the term, and after that point, we hope that the community as a whole will begin to discuss the proposals that we have made.
