To the Editor:
I was very pleased to see your avid support of recent drama productions. However, I wish The Dartmouth was able to give equal support to all the arts at Dartmouth. I found it a little disconcerting that Dartmouth's mainstage, "No" received a promo in The Dartmouth a day after it opened and a review the Monday after the show had closed. The whole purpose of a review is not to appeal to actors' egos, but to promote and publicize the show, drawing people's attention. A review after the close of a show doesn't do anything for the show. It's just difficult for an artist at Dartmouth to feel like The Dartmouth fully supports its fellow artists when certain productions receive next day reviews and something as popular as "Spring Sing" (an easy sell out) gets a promo the day of the show and a review the Monday after. I recommend that The Dartmouth treat all performances at Dartmouth with the same respect that they all deserve.
