To the Editor:
[California] Governor Pete Wilson, a potential Republican candidate for president, has declared that he is "pro-choice" in the matter of abortion. Governor Wilson has stated, "Government should stay out of the bedroom." Fetal children are not aborted in the bedroom.
Those voters who support the candidacy of Governor Wilson become accomplices in the abortion holocaust. As accomplices, mortal sin is committed. This precept is basic Christian moral theology. Catholics must confess all mortal sins before receiving the Sacrament of Penance. All must repent of their participation in this terrible crime.
