To the Editor:
This is a huge weekend for three Big Green teams. Tonight, men's hockey takes on Brown, currently the number 1 team in the ECAC, and the Friends of Dartmouth Hockey have donated 3,000 kazoos for the creative use of Dartmouth fans. Then on Saturday, a scheduling rarity occurs, as we battle the Crimson of Harvard in three sports in one day: men's basketball at 2, women's hoops at 4, and men's hockey at 7.
I issue a challenge to all sports-minded Dartmouth students: be CATALYSTS this weekend -- use your energy and initiative to re-assert a genuine home-ice and home-court advantage for Dartmouth teams. Obviously we all need to stay within the bounds of good taste and common sense, but nothing would energize our arenas more than a vociferous, PROACTIVE student section. Go Green Go!
