To the Editor:
We are the leaders of a group of people who have committed ourselves to cooperation within the Student Assembly. In the past few days, some inaccuracies have developed about the Union for Reasonable Student Government. We take issue with those who have compared us to Reform SA!. Neither of us had anything to do with that organization, and any suggestion to the contrary is just plain wrong.
We also disagree with Assembly President Nicole Artzer '94, quoted in Friday's Weekend Gazette as saying that we represent "pre-packaged ideas." If this year's Assembly has taught us anything, it is that we must elect a group that can work together effectively. Although some members of the Union may be liberal while others are conservative, and some may be Greek while others are non-Greek, we share the common goal of serving the student body. We ask for your support.
