Administrator's jobs change names

The titles of two College administrators, Linda Kennedy and Tim Moore, were recently changed to recognize their work and to better represent their current responsibilities.

Kennedy, formerly called the coordinator of student programs, is now the programming coordinator.

"Previously, Linda had done more hands on work with the Programming Board. Now, her programming ideas will be more of a resource," said Holly Sateia, dean of student life and director of the Collis Center.

"As a greater number of students are involved now with the Programming Board, she will be able to better assist student programming outside of Student Life," Sateia added.

Kennedy said that the name change was not significant.

"The title was changed to more accurately reflect what I actually do in my job," Kennedy said.

Tim Moore, in addition to being the director of student activities, is now also the assistant director of the Collis Center.

As director of student activities, Moore oversees the Student Activities Office and is responsible for working with students, the Council on Student Organizations and in enhancing out-of-classroom academic programs.

Sateia said Moore will be responsible for overseeing the Collis Center in her absence.

The title changes for Kennedy and Moore made last month did not involve pay raises, Sateia said.
