If You Don't Know, Now You Know

Sharing is caring, right?Wrong. While there are definitely some things that are good to share, there are many things you should keep to yourself. For starters, you should never share needles. Other things you probably shouldn’t share include razor blades, clickers, bequests, mascara, drinks, passwords, toothbrushes and headphones.

Is it actually not safe to share in-ear headphones?Sharing headphones is disgusting. Have you ever closely inspected your ear buds and discovered small globs of earwax wedged into the tiny holes? Well I have and it’s absolutely repulsive to imagine someone else’s earwax in my ear. Not only is it gross, but it can also cause increased bacteria in your ear canal (ew). You can even get ear maggots. EAR MAGGOTS!

So what are these “good things” that I should share?Share pizza — no one likes a pizza hog. Also, share your photos! I find it very annoying when people take super cute pictures and then never share them with anyone. I always think it’s better late then never, so you should definitely upload all of those photobooth pictures from freshman fall #tbt. Share stories, recipes, friends, ideas and music.
