Ivy field hockey contenders face off

This past week featured several key Ivy League women's soccer match-ups. Several top teams squared off to establish an edge early in the season. Brown 2, Harvard 0 Bekah Splaine of the Brown Bears nailed in a shot from way out just 43 seconds into the match, scoring what proved to be all that was necessary for victory on the day. The Bears' goalie tandem of Mary Jo Markle and Sarah Gervais made the real difference in the game, saving 10 shots versus three saves for Brown.



Women closing out great season

With four games left to play this season, the Dartmouth women's ice hockey team has the opportunity to clinch one of the greatest seasons in the team's 22-year history.



Callen pick for new women's tennis coach

After being ranked the number one singles player in the NCAA East for women's tennis, touring the WTA for three years as a professional player, and acting as an assistant women's tennis coach at Harvard University, Jennifer Callen has settled down at Dartmouth College. Athletic Director Richard Jaeger announced Callen's selection as the women's tennis head coach yesterday after Chris Kerr's departure this past June.
