Brown tops women's lax

A heart-breaking loss this weekend to the Bears of Brown set the women's lacrosse team one game back in their Ivy League standing, forcing a tie in the league title race between Dartmouth and Princeton.

Women's lax splits on Pennsylvania roadtrip

It's often been said that in life, you win some and you lose some. Well, in just one weekend, the women's lacrosse team won one and lost one. On Friday, the Big Green beat the 12th-ranked Penn Quakers on their home turf, 16-6, but later fell in the second frame of battle against the Nittany Lions of Penn State by a score of 12-9. The Sunday loss in State College, PA is the lone blemish on the Big Green's near-perfect 5-1 overall record on the season.

Women's lax takes on Quakers, Nittany Lions

Now ranked eighth in the nation and hot off their 10-8 upset win over the Princeton Tigers, the women's lacrosse team heads south to play the Penn Quakers and the Penn State Nittany Lions in a Friday-Sunday weekend double-header. The Big Green made their mark last weekend by downing their perennial Ivy foe and vaulting three spots in the national poll.
