As most of you probably know by now, the Dartmouth social scene is pretty Greek-centric. But fear not, 15s! So without further ado, here's a breakdown of the fraternities, sororities and co-ed houses at Dartmouth.

You're an exceptional group of scholars, athletes, musicians and community leaders. As a result, you're most likely about to experience what it's like to not be the best at everything for the first time. That's normal, and one of the privileges you have gained by choosing Dartmouth is that you are among so many of the best, some of whom are the best in unconventional ways.

As sophomores, most of us have no idea exactly what to expect after leaving the Dartmouth bubble. When I think about my long-term goals in life, I see a big hole to be filled by medicine, or maybe journalism, or maybe finance or hopefully by marrying super wealthy (sue me, I'm lazy). So instead of making incorrect assumptions, I decided to check in with some Mirror alumni to see how they have adjusted to life post-Dartmouth.

One music video, "Wizard Love," by user Meekakitty, has accumulated over 1 million views in the last month alone. The musical epic discusses the forbidden love between a Slytherin boy and a Gryffindor girl. He chases after her his "golden snitch" even though they are from "two different worlds." The song is a nice blend of clever Harry Potter references and a catchy pop-rock tune. With lyrics "Cuz baby I'm a Slytherin/And girl you are my Gryffindor," you will not be able to stop singing it (But you should). In contrast to that serious piece of musical genius, user Tremendousnews's "Harry Potter Re-Enacted By Cats in 1 Minute" is pretty much exactly what you might expect from the title. In this insightful synopsis and reinterpretation of the Harry Potter franchise, cats are cast as all of your favorite witches and wizards Harry, Hermione, Hagrid and even a feline without a nose portraying Voldemort. It is a different sort of tribute to the beloved series, but it is very topical. Cats are all the rage on the internet these days!

Sophomore Summer, in many ways, is the apex of our time at Dartmouth. If your college years are supposed to be the four most fun years of your life, sophomore Summer is supposed to be the crown jewel of the experience. There are no other terms where we have as much free time, and summer is the only season when the New Hampshire weather never actually tries to kill us all.
