Eight Facebook Album Titles for 14X
This summer is sure to be full of great moments, and with lots of great moments come photos, and with lots of photos comes a Facebook album, inevitably. To, you know, prove that all of this happened. There’s more than a little bit of pressure to think of that perfect Facebook album name. We all know the name of a Facebook album says it all, yet we don’t all know just what we are going to do with that pesky letter “x.” Most of our friends will expect album names beginning with 14X, as is the traditional Dartmouth social media etiquette every other term. But worry not, for the “x” is deceivingly easy to work with. Here are some ideas for names beginning with “14X,” ranging from silly to risqué to stupid — but mostly stupid! Because in the end the name doesn’t reaalllyyy matter, does it?
1. 14XP
It’s a stretch but it is an "x"!
2. 14XXX
Definitely a bold decision, this Facebook album name can mean a lot of things; a caption describing the true intent of the naughty “xxx” play may be helpful for some viewers. Especially for those of us who are Facebook friends with our grandmothers…
3. 14Xcited
14Xcited may be too cliché for some, but sometimes the most basic names can go a long way. Variations on the joyful 14X summer, such as 14Xcellent, 14Xceedingly awesome, and 14Xtra! work here too.
4. 14Xmas
Because summer at Dartmouth is actually the best holiday. Santa would definitely approve.
5. 14Xfoliate
In reference to all the sunburns I will be getting on the Green. A sassy Facebook name like this says “Aren’t I cool?” in an only slightly pretentious voice. “Aren’t I cool?” and “I never have enough sunscreen :/ #ouch”
6. 14Xanax
A silly name like this may offend a small few of your more conservative Facebook friends, but other Dartmouth students will almost certainly laugh out loud — it’s your call.
7. 14Xerox
The pun with a name like 14Xerox, of course, is that this summer will in no way be a copy of summers past.
8. 14Xiled
For those who feel trapped in the Hanover bubble whilst stalking their friends’ online photos from home.
