Seven Stages of Realizing It’s Week Nine of the Term

1. You feel like week nine just snuck up from nowhere.

 

2. But then you think it makes sense, because you’ve noticed that you’ve been running out of steam.

 

3. And then you realize that the term is ending just as the weather’s starting to get nice.

 

4. Finals are literally just around the corner, and so you decide it’s time to buckle down…

 

5. Or it suddenly hits you that there’s no way to recover from nine weeks’ worth of procrastination.

 

6. And although you may be excited to see your family…

 

7. You really don’t want to say goodbye to your friends.
