All Put Together: The Oscars

For me, awards season is all about the dresses. I love seeing the creativity of the designers shine through the beautifully crafted dresses they have worked on all season. Getting ready for awards season is a long, hard process for stylists and actresses, so let’s appreciate what these amazing women and their stylists have to put up with.

Jennifer Lawrence looked amazing in this red Dior gown. She was one of the few actresses who opted for a bold color, and it worked. I have to say that her necklace really pulled this look together.

Lupita Nyong’o wore a powder blue Prada dress. The classic Grecian cut was elegant and classic, and the color made it far from boring.

Cate Blanchett killed it in a nude Giorgio Armani dress. The tiny beads and paillettes made this dress stand out from the rest. The actress’s pastel-colored drop earrings perfectly matched the dress’s elegance and style.

Emma Watson took a risk with this Vera Wang dress. The gown’s metallic fabric made up for the simple yet sleek design. The stars in her hair also added a playful touch to her look.

Light pink was a popular color this year, but Camila Alves’s dress by Gabriela Cadena stood out from the rest. The flowing cape made the dress look elegant without being too dramatic.
