Is there anything at Dartmouth you haven’t done yet that you're hoping to do?
IP: Not really. I’m fairly content with what I have done, so probably just do more of it before I graduate.
AK: LOU’S CHALLENGE.

AC: Swim in the river.
SG: I want to swim or kayak in the river.
HZ: Go to the farmers’ market.
MFR: Go to the various craft studios, like jewelry [the Rebecca and Mark Byrne Jewelry Studio], woodworking [the Woodworking shop] and pottery [the Ceramics Studio].
EL: Visit the Hood Museum.

AE: I did a Gile sunrike last fall but haven’t done a sunsike yet!

IP: Probably nay, definitely lots of trips to the river though.

What’s a Dartmouth memory you wish you could relive?
IP: I would probably say sophomore fall and winter, when I started to become quite close with my roommate. Just chatting late at night was quite memorable.
AK: First year trips :).
HL: Freshman year Green Key.
AC: This awesome DOC trip I went on fall term.
SG: The end of First-Year Trips at Sklodge [the Dartmouth Skiway].
HZ: The first warm day at the end of winter term.
MFR: The bonfire but this time we actually have a real bonfire with flame and everything.
EL: Performing in “As You Like It” in the fall of 2024.
CK: Snowball fight.
AE: My birthday celebration in freshman year because all my friends were around!
What advice would you give your freshman fall self?
IP: Especially as a river-dweller, actively go to other dorms to meet people. I would say quite a few friendships are determined by where people lived and I would encourage myself to branch out more.
AK: Spend as much time outside my dorm as possible!!
HL: Don’t be afraid to try new things and step outside of your comfort zone.
AC: Explore! Explore! Explore!
SG: Explore more parts of campus! There’s a lot of cool spots outside of just Baker-Berry and the generic stuff.
HZ: Explore campus and find your favorite niche places and be adventurous!
MFR: It’s all going to work out really wonderfully, so please try to stop worrying so much about every little thing.
EL: Say yes more.
CK: Enjoy freshman year and take it one step at a time.
AE: Go out and talk to a lot of people!
Favorite activity to do on the Green?
IP: Kick a ball around barefoot, and sit on a blanket and have a dinner picnic.
AK: Reading with friends!
HL: Picnic lunch/dinner with friends.
AC: Go up to people and ask them funny questions for a Mirror article.
SG: Just chatting with friends or reading a book.
HZ: Sit and talk with friends.
MFR: Laze on the grass.
EL: Sunbathe.

IP: Maine Black Bear is the best!

SG: GOVT 48: “Redistribution, Inequality and Diversity.”

AE: ENGS 15.12: “Design and Entrepreneurship,” because I’ve always liked human-centered design classes.
What will you savor the most this term?
IP: Calling friends to hang out and chat for way longer than I’m supposed to. Also studying in the library with fellow undergrads.
AK: Most of my friends being on before we’re separated by D-plan madness :(.
HL: The peace and quiet of living in the Upper Valley/a more rural area in general before I move to NYC.
AC: Just having a relatively more carefree attitude to things — I feel like as I further my progress into college things will definitely get tougher and more serious, so in my freshman spring, I’ll cherish the lack of responsibilities or crunch that I might have sophomore year and onwards.
SG: Not having to wear a bajillion layers outside!
HZ: The nice weather.
MFR: Idk it hasn’t yet started but I’m excited.
EL: My friends :).
CK: The warmer weather.
AE: Collis smoothie.
General advice for spring?
IP: Try not to doom scroll too much and touch some grass.
AK: HAVE SO MUCH FUNNN.
HL: The spring is the best time to be on campus because there is so much to do outdoors (swimming holes, hikes, etc.). Take advantage of all the fun exploring and adventures!
AC: Go catch up with friends — it might be a while before you see them next.
HZ: Don’t take nice days for granted!
MFR: Go outside and do the things you’ve yet to do.
EL: Get outside as much as you can.
AE: Go and relax at Nathan’s Garden.
