Hanover Police arrested Barr around noon on Wednesdayat the Hinman Mail Center after Barr allegedly posted a threatening message on his Facebook account.

At the arraignment, Barr’s bail was amended to a $30,000 cash or surety bond, with conditions seton Wednesday. The conditions limit Barr’s involvement with public schools and the police, other than in the case of a legitimate emergency, Moran said. His trial is scheduled forApril 8.

In his Facebook post, Barr allegedly threatened to harm police officers and their children and referenced violence at a school. Upon receiving a complaint from a citizen who had viewed the post at10:37 a.m. on Wednesday, Hanover Police obtained an arrest warrant and located Barr at the Hinman Mail Center.
