The Dartmouth

The DDS Detective

  1. Place an order for a side of tofu at Collis.
  2. While that's being cooked, fill a small soup cup with some honey and add a little less than that amount of soy sauce (it's on top of the salad bar).
  3. Get a side of rice with your tofu.
  4. Drizzle some of the honey soy mixture on top of the rice
  5. Put the tofu in the remaining honey soy sauce and roll it around so it's evenly coated.
  6. Grab the sesame seeds from the sushi table and shake a generous amount on the tofu so that it coats the outside of the pieces.
  7. Put the tofu over the rice.

And there you have it. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, a little sweet, a little salty, and packed with flavor and that's all in a tofu dish. Let's just hope the kids at Dartmouth are a little more forgiving than my third grade elementary class.
