Brown University reported the presence of 234 cases of influenza-like illness on campus as of last Wednesday, up from 78 cases just one week earlier, The Brown Daily Herald reported on Thursday. The university aims to provide between 3,000 and 3,500 vaccinations, according to The Herald. In preparation for the flu season, Brown health services launched an online "Flu-web" for faculty, students and staff, hired two extra nurses and instituted a delay on all routine appointments to save resources.
